Well the DeLorean has a lot of things in common with the Esprit, except 
the Esprit has the engine the wrong way round making it 10x harder to 
work on. Just ask a Lotus dealer for the cost of changing the belts..... 
Driveshafts are another good example. Ours are 12 bolts to remove. The 
Esprit requires the entire rear hub carrier be moved so the roll pins 
can be knocked out etc etc... I'm not the best person to answer on the 
Esprit but if you think being newer makes the parts easier to come by, 
you don't know Lotus...
