I might have to join a Lotus forum and start bothering them. I
remember being nearly scared away from DeLorean ownership on several
occasions. Then I bought one anyway and really, it's no different than
maintaining any other old car.

Anyway, I'd be looking at a newer Esprit. Something in the '99 - '05
range. Should be much less "old parts catch up" to play than my
DeLorean.

I just wish the damn thing had more horsepower.

I've loved the 300ZX for a long time. Almost bought one once back when
I was frustrated with my Fiero. Unfortunately, they're found
everywhere and are not very exotic.
