Do you think retiring abroad will make anything better by running away from
the situation instead of trying to make a difference here?  That is the easy
way out.

By the way, my uncle retired abroad as well for financial reasons.  He built
a large estate and was highly regarded by the people in that area.  He came
home to the US in an urn after being murdered in cold blood because,
basically, he was a wealthy American overseas and they planned for several
years to do what they did to him just for his money.  Good luck with your
venture.
