Re: [DML] plastic clutch line syndrome?

All,

Regarding the below message on the plastic clutch line- I have the plastic clutch line also but have been 'living' with it because I have read/heard that it is a fairly major operation to have the line replaced and that when doing it you might as well put in a whole new clutch also. Is there truth to this rumor or is it possible to just swap out the plastic line for the steel one? Any insights/experiences welcome!

Sincerely,
Jeff

I had the plastic line replaced with the stainless one a week ago and
I must say it's a BIG difference! The Problem went completely away, and
the point where the clutch "grips" is now in the upper quarter of the
pedal-way instead of all the way down.
I would really recommend you to replace the plastic line!
