RE: [DML] plastic clutch line syndrome?

In 1985 I replaced just my plastic clutch line with the SS Braided.
The most difficult task was connecting and bleeding at the slave cylinder.

All,

Regarding the below message on the plastic clutch line- I have the
plastic clutch line also but have been 'living' with it because I
have read/heard that it is a fairly major operation to have the line
replaced and that when doing it you might as well put in a whole new
clutch also. Is there truth to this rumor or is it possible to just
swap out the plastic line for the steel one? Any insights/experiences
welcome!

Sincerely,
Jeff
