Rick,

I used my DeLorean as an every day car for a number of months until changing
a job meant that I had to have a company car.  I miss using my D all the
time and even now I will pop to Tesco in it just because I can....  My view
is that if like me you are never planning to sell the car don't end up
having a car that has not lived like you have, put the miles on it and enjoy
it.  D's are far more reliable when used often.....  I bought mine with 5800
miles on it in Jan 2002 and this weekend after using it for the Knebworth
BBC 1 filming, I took it to Alcester and then to Evesham for a wedding and
then onto the NEC motor show today.  Now just passed 16,000 miles.

Hello all,

At the moment,my only car is my delorean,so that means i have to
drive it everyday,well mon-friday to work 8 miles a day,i love
driving it!performance,if you catch it right,is great,second gear
being my fav,good on fuel too! Must say i love the attention!
Does anybody else use there d often,or am i mad!?
i think i may have 'upset' the  exhaust as it sounds like it's
blowing,
I'm thinking of buying a everyday car soon,once i have more
money,but i love driving my delorean,then again i don't want to put
more milage on it..
