I'll agree to that. There is a HUGE difference between "Off-Roading",
and "Rock Crawling".

Plus, there is another reason here that no one mentioned that you'd
need 4WD for, but would never have to leave pavement. And that's
launching and boat. You need all 4 wheels to grip on a slick incline,
when you pull that heavy mass out of the water.
