Re: [DMCForum] Resetting the fuel system

Hi everyone,

New inertia switch duly ordered and fitted, and my fuel pump is fine
again (the switch arrived on a nice Lotus blister pack--makes you think
the De Lorean is a sports car when it has sports car parts in it! :-) )

So now the problem is with the central locking. Martin Gutkowski told
me that not only does the switch cut off the fuel, but it unlocks the
doors too. While I was driving around with the switch jumpered out, the
central locking didn't work, but I'd assumed that once it was replaced
I'd get the central locking back. Anyone got any ideas why this might
not have happened? I've checked all the circuit breakers and none of
them have popped, so I'm wondering about relays. Or does the car need
to be plugged into a DMC diagnostic computer to have a post-crash
repair indicator reset or something?
