Yep, I had the 5.2 Liter V8. Jeep replaced the computer twice and a
host of sensors several times. Took them over a year to finally get
the engine to where it would idle correctly.

Driving down the road one day I noticed my oil gauge went to zero,
but the engine didn't start knocking, so I drove on. They replaced
the oil pressure sender three times before I got one that worked
correctly.

I could write pages on the things they replaced and the problems I
had. There was no way I could afford to keep that vehicle on the
road out of warranty.

Mine may have just been a lemon. I now have a Jeep Wrangler with the
inline 6. The definition of reliability. Couldn't be happier.
