[DMCForum] a word about code

since we're totally digressing from anything Delorean (how I'd love 
to talk about my Delorean, but all I can do is visit it for now), and we 
were talking about Stupid Code Tricks,  thought I'd pass along this 
bit of wisdom that I just learned.

Tucson Building Code follows national guidelines, not local.  So 
essentially we're following building practices that work in  places 
like Maine and Indiana. 

 I just had to put tornado tie-downs on the new construction on my 
house!!!!!

So what if we have 40-degree temp swings most days - I don't have 
to build with materials that take that into consideration.

And I have pressure-treated lumber on the interior framework.
