Guess you're the last to find out: I'm doing my best to get a
carbureted block transplanted in time for Pigeon Forge. Have already
made an adapter to mate a Motorcraft 2150 (2 barrel, jetted for a '76
Mustang with the 171) to the A series manifold (single venturi). Am
halfway through engineering a Ford style throttle cable (integrated
return spring, throttle ball retainer) from the stock DeLo cable. If
all goes well this holiday weekend, I'll be ready to swap blocks early
next week. THEN comes the long process of reassembly, tuning, etc.

Hopefully the trip to DC->Pigeon Forge won't be my test drive...
