[DML] Re: Carburetors suck.



Yikes....how'd I get drug into this debate....Marc just running a little nitrous...barley noticeable. :-) 

Clarification too, Rob never said car was faster he said peppy and a bit more responsive in lower gears which I felt was noticeable too, at least comparing my car only pre and post Carb.  

FTR, I switched because I kept having rest pressure issues with my Primary fuel pressure regulator o rings...got tired of messing around with K jet issues so simplified fuel delivery, not because I felt a Carb was the more advance choice. So having had the opportunity to have and worked on both fuel systems I can say I'm sold....but not to the point that I would claim that a Carb is as technically advanced as FI because my mechanical opinion it is not, it is however a very effective, simple fuel delivery system that allows much more access for routine engine bay work....ie tune ups etc....
