[DML] Re: DeLorean Owners Association??

I think that the people here in general are sympathetic with your position and situation. Having been a DOA member off and on I can also understand the opposing sentiments from others, old-timers as well as newbies. And we all can live without DOA, although it would be nice to have a truly worldwide club.

I for one appreciate your candor -- as well as your frustrations, but I can guarantee one thing: Micro Management as obviously is practiced by the present boards will NEVER allow DOA to flourish! What you all need to do is to sit down and draw up some plans, agree on the plans, assign responsibility and reporting points -- and then they should shut up and NOT require you as VP to get authorization for every new step on the way. No wonder that nothing ever improves! Responsibility without authority is next to worthless.
