Re: [DML] DOA (my idea)

I happen to agree with Kevin on this. I also hope that with Josh the DOA will get a lot of new life and find a new direction. In the past it tended to want to "own" everything Delorean. It also seemed to become too elitist and the events too expensive with the magazine becoming more of a traveloge than an organ of a car club. The final straw was reducing the # of magazines and not reducing the dues or even being accountable to the membership for expenses. James E could elaborate on what went on but I am sure he does not want to alienate any Delorean owners in his current position with DMCH. The best of all worlds would be to bring all things Delorean under one umbrella so it can be a central place to go and that is not beholding to any vendor. I am not convinced (at least not yet) that the DOA is the best orginazation for that. The only other candidate is the DCS and from the sounds of things it would appear the DCS and the DOA just got married!
