Re: [DML] New DOA President & Vice-President

To me, $75 for a membership card and quarterly magazine would feel more like giving money away to charity rather than purchasing something of value. I, and many others I am sure, would like to know what happens to the membership funds that aren't used for the magazine.

Also, living in North Dakota, I feel like I am a pretty active member of the community online, however I can't see how the DOA could possibly make me feel part of the group if one of the benefits is joining other DOA members somewhere on the west coast (I assume).

The big thing, Josh, will be to make those of us who communicate online to receive something of value for that $75 that is not easily obtained free over the web. Many of us have gone along just fine not boasting DOA credentials, and that will continue unless the DOA offers something that is desired at a price point that is reasonable.

Just my 2 cents!
Andy
