Re: [DML] Re: DMC Car Show Gettysburg

I also really don't get your position, Bill.

At Chicago, there were pleny of cars that didn't get "judged".. the judges
asked for everyone in the tent area to either (a) be at your car to open the
doors when they come around, or (b) just leave your doors open.

If the doors were closed, you didn't get judged.

And if you're so sure you're not going to win any awards, either (a) tell
the judges to skip your car when they come around, (b) leave a sign on the
windshield to that effect, (c) keep your doors closed and locked, or (d)
just don't worry about it. So what if your car is judged? If you're not
there, you won't even know. If you are there, you can ask them to skip your
car. As Ken said, it's great to have as many cars inside as possible, and
he's even given you the option of leaving so you don't get stuck inside.

It's not like at the end of the show there's this big list posted of all the
judged cars in order of condition or points. Nobody will even know which
cars were judged and which ones were not.

So what's the big deal?
