People come to shows like this with different expectations. No one can
fully enjoy ALL aspects and events of a show as large as this. Some
come for the social aspects, some the comaraderie, some for business
reasons, some to compete. There will be stuff to buy, seminars on
various topics, the museum, etc. Those that chose to compete do it for
a lot of reasons and it is necessary for the Delorean Marque to have
an ongoing Concours to benchmark the car for it's value. In the long
run it is in the best interests of all owners. The driven classes are
more for fun than serious judging and any judging is and will always
be voluntary. In fact no one is twisting anybody's arm to come to the
show in the first place! If you come to the show with an attitude that
you are not going to have a good time you will find reasons to leave
unhappy. There are catagories for modified so if you want to customize
your car it is also recognized for what it is. Ken tries to make his
show friendly and welcome to all.

Look for me in the vendors area, I will be selling a lot of stuff at 
this show and my car will be displayed (not judged) inside among the
former Concours winners from past shows.
