Stainless Steel Question?

I've read the backissues about stainless steel polish, and gather that Stainless Steel Magic is one of the favorites. Are there any others that provide great results? What I'm looking for is an amazing shine with little or no residue. Also, has anyone on here used a motorized soft buffer to get more shine, if so what were the effects?
