Turning heads

Well...I just got my DMC back from Rob Grady yesterday. Only had it a week,
and it cost me over $3K, but you know what?....IT WAS WORTH IT! Rob fixed
so many things on the car, it performs about 80% better! Due to depletion
of funds, I can not have everything done that Rob suggested, but I am
looking forward to completing the work he told me I need. The car should
rock!

Anyway.....

I got my first real taste of driving a D when I got it home yesterday from
Long Island. On the way home, there was a guy at a traffic light a car
length in front of me. He was craning his neck around SOOO hard to check
out my car. I LOVED IT!

Then I went out last night, and was waiting for a friend in a parking lot.
A family walked by the car, and the 10 year old son was transfixed on the
car. He asked his dad what it was, and he said "That is a Delorean...a
really cool car" Then about 4 minutes later (after my friend had arrived) a
group of 3 boys was walking by, and one goes "Hey! that's a.....ummm...car
from back to the future" I corrected him by offering him the name. He
asked if it was mine, and I told him yes. Their next several comments
were.."Cool!" "That's a cool car" etc...

My friend told me not to "roll in it" so much....but I love the
attention....IT IS SO MUCH FUN!
