Councils and planners can be nightmare!  There is normally no limit on
planning grounds, providing you have enough room and only intend to use
it for "private purposes". 

My new plans (yet to be agreed) on my very large site, include a garage
28' wide by 58' long...we'll see how I get on..

Hi tracey, snap I'm having the same at my place it's only taken two
months so far to get the council to agree to the size!!  Mines now
shrunk from 20ftx20ft to 16ft by 20ft aarrhh.  We'll have to compare
once both are built(Now people might think thats sad but hey who cares).
