I can remember a friend of mine who "knew" about a stolen DeLorean
that had the window smashed and lock damage.
 
I think he knew someone who bought it
 
I'll dig his number out and phone him

Smokey (vin 569), or MXI 4811, was stolen in about 1994, and was found by C&E as the paperwork didn`t add up, they went to one of the containers in the docks, opened it up and there was MXI 4811, ready to be shipped away... thankfully returned to the owner.

as for damage, the drivers large window was smashed, stearing lock (not column) was destroyed, small knee pad was lost and the car hot wired. now everything apart from the small knee pad are now sorted.... and shes tucked away in the garage safe and sound....
