Huh?? It is like 65 here in NJ today.. I had the DMC
out on Monday. It was the "maiden voyage" of 6068
with it's new motor mount.
After my embarrassment at the track during the DMA
Fall Foliage Tour, I had to do something!!!
New mount makes things MUCH better. The engine does
not move at all, even under extreme conditions. It
also keeps the shifter from moving all over the place
as the engine rocked back and fourth making it shift
better too.
As a side-effect, it seems harder to break traction
(harder to drift, sorry Martin!!). But I can take off
from a dead stop now without loosing traction. I also
tried it out for a short ride in the rain (right after
Tom and I installed the mount) and it is amazing how
much better it runs now. It is nice to be able to
start off in 1st gear on a wet road!
