Hi,
I worked on a friends Delorean with almost the same symptoms, Ran fine cold, but when warm, would smoke (white) and almost die when you raced the engine for the first time warm. It tuned out to be a bad fuel distributor, and it was a rebuilt one, just bad. It was not getting any or very little control fuel pressure on top of the piston in the fuel distributor, causing the car to run very rich. I first thought it was the CPR (warm up regulator), But there was very little fuel pressure getting to the CPR, for it to regulate. But you need to put a set of fuel gauges (for K- jetronic) on the car to really get a picture of what is going on with the fuel system. Hope this helps

Hello again, thanks to everyone for their reply earlier. I'll try to
keep this as short as I can. I've been trying to find some time to
check a few things, got out there tonight. Oil looks fine, so does
the filler cap. No white foam in either. Maybe I'm just running
rich then?
