[DML] Re: Hood won't pop up

Make sure the metal loop on the hood (bonnet) locates right in the
middle of the latch without rubbing on the sides. Adjust the latch
left or right to do this, enlarge the bolt holes if you have to. The
other thing is there are 2 springs in the lock. Take the cover off and
shorten the smaller spring a little. Add a back-up emergency cable in
case the cable should break again. Lubricate the lock, that always
helps too.
