The surging actually bothers the heck out of me. It's a major surging,
coming up from ~750rpms to ~1500, then back down to ~750 every 2
seconds or so. When it comes back down, sometimes it tries to die.

I think the co is technically correct where it's set now. According to
the dwell meter it is, anyway. When I dial it up as above the lambda
system gives up and stops regulating things. I think I'm going to have
to tear the fuel system apart and find out what's up... or give up and
take it to a volvo mechanic.
