I BUY electronics surplus from Radio Shack.
When they retire a radio that has been either on Display, or given to
executives for demos
they get sent back and sold for scrap.
Some of these radios still have the remainder of the 1 or 2 year contracts
on them,
and some rare occasions lifetime subs.
The service has been paid for.
There is no theft taking place.
I just "know" people and get dibs on this stuff.
