Yeah I feel the same way, I mean enough is enough.  I have attended a few
conventions to meet the actors and buy some crap, but never would dream of
going in costume.  There is a line to my fandom and that's well beyond it
lol.

Here is where I do a 180 degree turn and show my inner normal person:
What the crap?! Chatting with other geeks online while we all watch
the same episode of Star Trek we've all seen a hundred times?

That's weird. I don't think I would enjoy that. For that matter, I
don't think I would enjoy being in the same room as someone who enjoys
that.
