Didn't we just have this argument last month?

Single largest source of air pollution in the US: electricity generation.

Largest source of automobile pollution: cars stuck idling in city traffic.

I live in rural America (where the air is still clean, thank you very
much, except for all the coal fired power plants in Tenessee blowing
east...)
