Why did you have to carry the gun in the car, in the 1st place? Why do you
have a gun? Would you have enough time, if accosted, to get to the gun and
fire a shot? Would you point the gun at another human and shoot him,  if he
had a knife? What do you have that is so valuable that a bullet is the
answer -- your watch? wallet? ring? chain? How much to replace them? Sorry,
I cannot understand the mentality to carry a weapon in a car other than the
macho factor..... unless your job requires that item for security while
transfering your millions from one bank to another..

Let me tell you that I do own guns, and believe I have the right to own one.
However, they are locked and secure at my home. My family is a different
story.
