[DMCForum] Re: Thermostat

I'm running an Autozone thermostat in my car right now. Is rated
slightly warmer than stock (195 degrees vs 189 degrees). I believe
it's Part #615475/15649, but don't hold my feet to the fire (that is a
Duralast thermostat number, but it could be for a Ford 302 -- I was
preparing the Blue Truck for service at the same time). Just look up
any Volvo 2.8 liter on their counter computer.

My PRV thermostat was made in Germany. Thermostats for my American
engines are made in Israel. All are sold as "Duralast" (Autozone house
brand). I seem to remember the PRV thermostat came with a seal.
