I never stated that the CO screw affects air sensor plate movement
(throttle plates do that). It *DOES* affect the back half of the
teeter totter. Which means the effect of air sensor plate movement on
the metering piston is very much affected by the CO screw, throughout
the entire range of motion of the air sensor plate, idle through WOT.

See the pic of a disassembled teeter totter in #5939's DML photo
album. CO screw clearly determines how much metering piston travel is
caused by the air sensor plate. Tighten it down, and any given amount
of air deflection will yield more fuel. Back it off, and that same
amount of air deflection will yield less fuel.
