Hi James,

An alternative to consider would be using the "DeLorean" stylized
text.  This trademark was abandonded as of January 2005 and is now dead:

It might look a bit silly having this in two places on the back of the
car, but it could save you some time, money, and grief.

It's not the first time that this trademark has been abandoned, click
around the USPTO site and you'll find another one for perfume,
cologne, and after shave! Interesting...
