[DMCForum] Re: Climate control fan & hot relays

Ryan - The circuit breaker seems to be the leading cause of the A/C
fan turning off after a period of use.  I changed the breaker in
Winged1 to a 40 amp heavy duty unit with studs (as opposed to the
spade terminals, which can be a source of poor connections and
heat), and also changed the relays out to heavy duty 40 amp units as
well.  I haven't had any kind of issue since doing these things.  We
have all of that stuff in stock, and ready to go.  The breakers with
studs do require that the wires be re-terminated with ring
connectors in place of the spade connectors, but the quality and
security of the connections make that change very worthwhile.

PS - I will be in Spokane in a week for the Lilac Festival parade
and a tech session on Sunday (May 22nd).  Is there interest in some
of your guys making a road trip up for one or both of those?  Let me
know.  Thanks.

be honest I never thought much of it. They all worked and looked
clean so I assumed they were OK. Time to order new ones.
