They made tons of money at DCS2004, and well... Had
little investment in the event itself, other than the
branded items we were asked to give away during
registration (postcard, lanyards, other crap).. oh,
and the small box of items for the raffle.
So, this time DeLorean owners are asked to pay for an
event so they can again spend tons of money buying
DMCH products? There is a draw to their event this
time, with Bill Collins and Proto1 being there... I
hope that Bill and Tony are getting proper
compensation for their "draw factor".
A lot like the "DeLoreans" magazine, where the
subscriber is asked to pay for what is nothing more
than a glossy advertisement for DMCH.
With DCS being a non-profit show run BY fans, for
fans... I would prefer to see Bill and Proto1 at that
event which is not limited to anyone for any reason.
Maybe someone close to Tony or Bill can pass this
along for me. If they are not getting proper
compensation, they should consider doing DCS instead.
