Because I have no experience with serious auto mechanics beyond 
tinkering.  And also because every time I see a guy (sorry to be 
sexist) wrenching on a car he's grunting and struggling to free 
something that's frozen or hard to get to.  I simply don't have the 
physical strength for that kind of thing.  I've attained the wisdom to 
know the difference between what I can tackle and what I should 
just delegate.
