[DMCForum] Re: BUMP - No air blows when on vent, heater, or defrost (Electrical Connections)

Bill, this sounds useful to me.

But shouldn't Derek then observe that the A/C-Compressor should turn
on when when he sets it to vent or heater ?

I mean I can feel it on my car especially when idling. Both fans
in the fornt turn on, compressor turns on and cylces, voltage drops,
engine loses power.....

If it is like you say then I really wonder how bad people know their
cars or how bad they observe the things that happen with it.

Has it occurred to anyone to ensure electrical connections on the mode
switch itself are intact and in correct order?

Clockwise, looking at the switch from the rear:
- Green/White and Green/White (12v in and out)
- Pink/Orange and Red (to A/C compressor and noise capacitor)
- Green (to fan switch)

Look at the diagram on Page N:08:15 -- sounds to me like his
Pink/Orange and Green are backwards...
