RE: [DMCForum] Re: Who to buy parts from?

Actually, I am still tearing my car apart so I have yet to buy anything from
any vendor.  Wait, is Josh considered a vendor?  I have spent enough money
with him to put his grandkids through college :)

A few weekends ago we had a tech session where an entire brake system was
replaced with Hervey's stuff.  We didn't have any problems with anything he
sent, although a wheel bearing fell apart on one rotor.  Everything was
nicely packaged and well presented, and worked exactly like it should.  I
wouldn't have a problem buying these from him.

John Hervey does not use DMCH for the supply of his parts. The vast
majority of his parts are cross reference replacement parts not NOS
that has been sitting around for 20 some odd years.

Granted he does not have every part that DMCH has, but for routine and
general maintenance, he has about everything that I would ever need.

But, you have to ask yourself. Is he your "preferred" vendor?
