Let's see.  Of the folks who were driving today...

- Juley & I were unemployed.
- One lady worked at KFC, and she brought her son (who looked just like the
boy in Jerry Maguire, btw)
- One was a nurse who worked with organ donations, and she is on night
shifts this week.
- Two (husband and wife) were retired.  He put up 75 Bush signs in the last
week.  All were stolen.

Vandals slash tires of 20 GOP vehicles

Milwaukee, WI, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Milwaukee police were looking for a young
white male suspected of slashing the tires on 20 cars and vans rented by
Republicans to get out the vote. 
 
The vandalism was discovered about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday after a security guard
saw a man running from an area where the vehicles were parked. Twenty-seven
tires were damaged on 20 cars and vans rented by the state GOP, the
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel said.

Detectives suspect the vandalism was politically motivated.

A Republican Party spokesman said volunteers offered use of their personal
vehicles to get people to the polls during Election Day after news of the
vandalism spread.

And, in another case of vandalism, a wall at the Wisconsin GOP headquarters
building in Madison was spray-painted with the words "Illegitmate Democracy"
twice, a Republican official said.
