[DMCForum] Drying time for 3M glue when installing eyebrow bars??

Hi all,
    I am installing some aluminum strips in my front fascia to 
prevent eyebrows from forming, and have bought a tube of 3M "window-
weld super fast urethane" as recommended here:

3M Part # 08609

Believe it or not, it doesn't give a drying/curing time on the tube.  
Can I assume 24 hours?  Anyone know?

Also, do you guys think aluminum or steel strips are better...
The aluminum is lighter and won't rust, but the steel is a bit more 
rigid.
