[DMCForum] Re: cooling fan issue (bleeding radiator)



Bleeding the radiator bleeder is only necessary because DMC in its
infinite wisdom routed the line DOWNHILL to the coolant return pipe.
Mine is attached to the heater core return (jetisoned that silly piece
of 1 1/4" pipe in lieu of a contiguous hose). Bleeds itself no sweat
because it isn't downhill!

Be careful removing the hose if you've got an original plastic channel
radiator. Is very easy to snap the barb off.
