Big investment for a small company to make..  They
must be well financed.

If they are going to sell "new cars" (especially with
the SS frame they had in PF), they will need to crash
test them to meet current crash guidelines.  What
about Emissions? air bags? and all of the other modern
requirements for a "new car"?

using the old vins, they avoid all of this.
