Bill - geez, dude!  I don't want you bleeding on my pillow when I 
dream about you tonight!  I think there is an artery in the thumb - 
would you consider medical attention?  FWIW, super glue was 
invented to bond tissue during brain surgery and it does work on 
wounds altho the impurities might cause infection.  But it beats 
exsanguinating................LP
