[DMCForum] DeLorean related maintenance post:

This past weekend, I installed Video Bob's door LED's. I am very
pleased with them.

I have ordered A/C panel LED's to replace the BA7 bulbs currently
frying my center panel. If they're worth a damn, I'll post photos and
send the link to anyone who wants it.

Next, I installed Video Bob's power antenna that I had purchased at
Pigeon Forge. (That's the last of my loot from PF to install) I am
blown away by the crappy way the OEM antenna was bracketed in. I could
tell they were rushing and cutting corners at the factory. Ah well. It
works great now. I wonder how long it'll hold up the the elements.
It's actually kind of exposed in the pontoon.

I re-re-covered my headliner buckets. I tried it the "Vixen" way, by
pouring a medium into the fabric so that it would conform to the
shape. I used 20 lbs of rice because I didn't want to vacuum up play
sand. I took photos. If they hold, I'll write up a little "how-to"
with Dave's permission.

I've also installed my spare, freshly painted rear fascia.

Next up:

Transmission shaft seal replacement.
Seat covers.
Carpet cleaning.
Flux capacitor circuitry construction.

Cheers,

Rich A.
