That's how my (American) Indian friends used to walk! I tried it for a 
while, but it severely shortened my stride.

I could reach them, but I had to point my toes, which got fatiguing. I 
don't wear elevator shoes, but generally my footwear adds about an inch 
of height. Because of my height, I have to drive with the seat back 
pretty vertical, but I don't like sitting too close to the steering 
wheel because it feels crowded. I guess I'm strange because I like to 
see the end of my vehicle, possibly because my first car had an obvious 
end to it ... I can understand for aerodynamic purposes having the hood 
of a vehicle curved, but they should at least put a hood ornament on it 
so you can tell where the thing ends. My Duster was totaled because some 
girl in an SUV was so short that she couldn't see the end of her vehicle 
and smashed right into mine thinking she had plenty of space.

Anybody driven a Dodge Dart recently? Is it easy to see the front end 
from the driver's seat? (That's my other dream car. Dodge Dart GTS 
convertible. Yeah, I know. LOL)

OK, anyway. I've wasted enough bandwidth for one evening.
