Remember that the low side switch is adjustable.  For
testing purposes, you should be able to over ride this
switch and watch the low side get too low while you rev the
engine.  There is no need to let it get any lower than 25ish
psi, but keep an eye on the high side.  If your system can't
do this then you have a problem elsewhere.  I'm thinking
maybe your compressor is weak or your manifold gauges are
inaccurate.
