Yeah, I finally got some time to work on my car!  I replaced
my front shock bushings with polyurethane.  The ones I took
off were bad, but I will have to give them the benefit of a
doubt because I didn't have them torqued to the full 20
ft-lbs.  They looked like they were going to crush to bits
if I did.  The new polyurethane ones fit great & didn't
over-crush.

The rear bushings are the real problem.  I had the DMCH ones
torqued to the recommended 20 ft-lbs, and they failed soon
after.  Apparently any soft bushing there can shift
including OEM.  But finding a polyurethane equivalent is not
easy.  I got some with a wider shoulder and will try turning
those down on a lathe.  NB according to the holes in the
frame, the rear bushings need a 11/16" shoulder, and the
front needs a 5/8" shoulder.  I am not aware of any shocks
sold for the DeLorean (besides OEM) that takes these
different sizes into consideration.
