Re: [DMCForum] Re: How humiliating...

Well having disassembled and re-assembled 2 units probably 3-4 times each.
I can say be very very care full when you go to split them apart. Each
cylinder has a little spring which is calibrated to deliver the correct
amount of fuel. And when u go to pop it they will want to jump out and
roll
across the floor. I have been luck so far and only ever had 1 pop out so
I
knew where it came from.

Invest in quality cap-head screws. Chances are you will strip a couple of
them as you try take it apart.

The last part takes the most patience, putting it back together without
leaks. No matter how tempted you are DO NOT use any kind of sealant.
Take
your time and give each screw an even turn till you get them nice and
tight.
Then put it on the car jump the relay and watch for leaks. It might take
some time for a small one to show up but those are the most dangerous.

Most important take your time it can be an expensive screw up.

If you don't have a car drivable for the AUG rally, and if I make it I
might
be able to talk my brother into letting you have some seat time in his
car.
