These clamps were DEALER installed with a DEALER kit. The clamps held from 1989 to 1997 when my dad rear ended somebody with the truck and cut the A/C hose during the accident. The A/C was never charged or got low on freon during the time it worked. If these clamps came in a Ford Motorcraft Dealer installed A/C kit i am sure they will hold on any other application with the barbed connectors. The clamps are also a little wider and fatter than radiator clamps. P.S. the A/C compressor on my Ford Ranger is the same model as the DeLorean compressor i believe.
