To be brief, I worked for one of the largest, if not the largest, auto
parts
chains in the US.  With the amount of returns we had for defective parts I
quickly went back to OEM for what I needed.  Granted there are some parts
that do not matter where you get them from but those are obviously not
what
I am referring to.  I put a rebuilt compressor on a friend's Blazer,
pulled
a vacuum, and after a small amount of freon was pulled into the system one
of the o-rings failed much like Dave described with the Mt. St. Helens
incident.
