OK here we go again...

I have proven that sucking harder DOES NOT make the pump noisy.  The problem
with the noise comes from crap getting in to the pump past the screen, air,
and the bearings wearing out.

Next time you have your pump out, prime it, then reverse the polarity of the
leads to run it backwards over a white paper towel.  You will be very
surprised what comes out.  Only run it this way will the majority of the
liquid is out.  Now anyone that wants to argue that running a pump backwards
is bad you better have proof that it is bad for the fuel pump.  Cause I have
proof that it doesn't cause any noticeable damage even after a sustained run
of almost 1hr.
